Neurologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. Your body's brain, spinal cord, muscles and nerves create this system. Dementia, stroke, seizure, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis are among the disorders treated by a neurologists. A patient may also be referred to a neurologist for symptoms such as numbness/tingling, headache, or vertigo.

Consultations with a neurologist require specific diagnosis and sometimes require testing such as X-ray or MRI prior to the appointment. Because of this, we require that all consultations with a neurologist must be scheduled by your primary care provider or another referring Physician.
