Howard Glass, D.O.
Dr. Glass grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1971. He went on to medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his post-graduate internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Zeiger-Botsford Osteopathic Hospitals in Michigan and became chief resident in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in 1985.
Dr. Glass is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He has worked at Maine centers for healthcare since 1988, specializing in cardiology. He practices invasive and non-invasive cardiac medicine.
He has been a fellow of both the American college of osteopathic internists and American college of cardiology since 1992.
He has been a professor of internal medicine at University of New England's College of Osteopathic Medicine since 1988 and house staff educator since 1979.
Dr Glass works for world peace and volunteers with the organization "Seeds of Peace". He also teaches Sunday school every week. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two daughters. He likes to sail, run, play tennis and practice yoga.
